To guard the organization against illegal, unethical, or incompetent activities by fiscal managers.
To help a board fulfill its responsibility
To protect the organization from legal challenges and liability.
To protect the institution from actual or apparent conflict of interest
To act as the board’s eyes and ears in the financial operation
To act as an advisory panel to the financial operation

To ensuring proportionality, transparency, accountability and fairness in the purchasing process
To submit the reports to the Management
To ensure proper utilization of fund.
To give its views and to make recommendations to the Executive Council on any financial question affecting the Institution either on its own initiative or on reference from the Board of Management or the Director.
